Richard “Bud” Croswell is the owner and master electrician behind Prime Electric. Originally from Delaware, Bud began his career as a union commercial electrician, gaining years of hands-on experience working on complex, high-standard electrical systems. In 2016, he relocated to Florida and brought that same level of professionalism, precision, and craftsmanship to residential electrical work along the Treasure Coast.
With more than 15 years of electrical expertise, Bud is known for his strong attention to detail, thorough diagnostic skills, and a commitment to doing every job the right way — safely, cleanly, and up to code.
Bud earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania, where he also served as captain of the college wrestling team. His leadership experience later led him to coaching high-school wrestling, giving back to the community and mentoring local youth.
Today, Prime Electric is a family-owned residential electrical company, built on Bud’s core values: honest workmanship, integrity, clear communication, and treating customers like neighbors.
